    "content": "Shipping & Delivery Last updated: August 2026 Where we deliver We deliver right across Sweden. What it costs Express delivery is a flat SEK 230. Orders of SEK 525 or more are delivered free. The charge is shown at checkout before you pay, and it is charged as a delivery option rather than as a line item, so a discount code only ever reduces the price of the goods. How long it takes Allow 5 to 7 days within Sweden, plus 24 to 48 hours of order handling before dispatch, because screens are prepared to order rather than picked off a shelf. We will tell you if anything is going to run longer than that. Tracking Every order ships with tracking. You get a link by email as soon as your order leaves us. For logistical reasons, items in the same purchase can arrive in separate parcels. If a tracking email has not arrived, check your spam folder first, then contact us with your order number and we will resend it. If a parcel is late, lost or damaged Until the goods reach you, the risk is ours: on a consumer sale, risk passes when you take physical possession of the goods (Konsumentköplagen 2022:260). If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, contact us with your order number and we sort it out, either by replacing the order or refunding it. You do not need to chase the carrier yourself. Getting your address right Please check the delivery address before you pay. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong or nobody could take delivery, we will resend it, though a second delivery charge may apply.",

Goods must be returned in clean, resaleable condition. Screens made to your own measurements fall outside the withdrawal right.",
    "content": "Refunds & Returns Last updated: August 2026 Your 14-day right of withdrawal As a consumer buying online in Sweden, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within fourteen days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. This is your ångerrätt under the Distance Contracts Act, Distansavtalslagen (2005:59), chapter 2, section 10. To use it, send us a clear statement by email at theteam@insectscreenssweden.com with your order number before the period ends. Any clear statement will do. You may use the standard withdrawal form published by Konsumentverket, but you do not have to. What you get back We refund the price you paid, including the original delivery charge, using the same payment method you used. Chapter 2, section 14 of the Distance Contracts Act requires that refund within fourteen days of your withdrawal notice; we may wait until the goods have reached us, or until you show they have been sent, whichever comes first. In practice we process refunds as soon as the goods arrive back, usually within 24 to 48 hours of receipt. You pay the direct cost of returning the goods. Unrolling a screen and offering it up to the window is fine. Cutting it to size is not, because it cannot then be resold: if the value of the goods has been reduced by more handling than was needed to examine them, we may deduct that reduction from the refund. Cancelling before we ship Orders can be cancelled at no cost at any time before they ship. Most orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours of payment clearing, so if you need to change or cancel, email us as soon as you can after ordering. Screens made to your measurements If we make a screen to the measurements you give us, for example through our quote service, it is made to your own specification. Chapter 2, section 11, point 3 of the Distance Contracts Act excludes goods made to a consumer's own specifications from the withdrawal right, so that right does not apply once we have started making it. We say this on the quote form too, so you know before you order. This is a different thing from a standard size that you cut down yourself at home: standard sizes keep the full withdrawal right until you cut them. If anything is wrong with a made-to-measure item, just contact us. Faulty or incorrect goods are always put right, and the exemption above does not touch your statutory rights over defects. If something is faulty If your order arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us and we will put it right at no cost to you. We cover return costs for faulty items. Your statutory rights apply under the Consumer Sales Act, Konsumentköplagen (2022:260): you may complain about a fault for three years from receiving the goods, which is longer than in most of the EU, and a fault that shows itself within two years is presumed to have existed at delivery unless we show otherwise. Complain within a reasonable time of noticing the fault; within two months always counts as reasonable. You may then choose between repair and replacement, and if we cannot do either within a reasonable time, a price reduction or your money back. How to start a return Email theteam@insectscreenssweden.com with your order number and tell us whether you are withdrawing or reporting a fault. We reply with the return address and the next step. Please do not send anything back before you hear from us, so your parcel does not go astray. Consumer dispute resolution If a dispute arises we would much rather settle it with you directly, so please contact us first. If we cannot resolve it, you can take the dispute to ARN, Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (the National Board for Consumer Disputes) at arn.se , free of charge. Konsumentverket publishes consumer guidance at konsumentverket.se , and your municipality's consumer adviser (konsumentvägledning) can help you locally.",

    "content": "Privacy Policy Last updated: August 2026 This Privacy Policy explains how Magnetic Insect Screens (a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, \"we\", \"us\" or \"our\") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit insectscreenssweden.com or buy from us. We handle your data lawfully, fairly and transparently, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the GDPR) and the Swedish Data Protection Act, dataskyddslagen (2018:218). Who is responsible The controller for your data is Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, trading as Magnetic Insect Screens. Our Swedish administration address and our registered address are both in the footer of every page and on the About page. You can reach us about anything on this page at theteam@insectscreenssweden.com . What we collect and why Order data. Your name, email address, delivery address, phone number and order contents. We need these to perform the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We never see or store your full card number: payments go through Stripe or PayPal, who are the ones handling card data. Enquiry data. What you send us through a contact or quote form, so we can answer you. This is also contract performance, or our legitimate interest in replying to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics data. Only if you consent. See the Cookie Policy for what is set and how to change your mind (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). How long we keep it Order records are kept for as long as Swedish accounting law requires, which is seven years under chapter 7 of the Book-keeping Act, bokföringslagen (1999:1078). Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted once the matter is closed and there is no longer a reason to keep them. Who we share it with Only the parties needed to get your order to you and to run the site: our payment providers (Stripe, PayPal), our email provider, our delivery partners, and our hosting and analytics providers. They act as processors on our instructions, or as controllers in their own right where they set their own purposes, as payment providers do. We do not sell your data. Some of these providers process data outside the EU and EEA. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the GDPR's chapter V safeguards, normally an adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Your rights You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of what was done before you withdrew it (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). To exercise any of these rights, email us at theteam@insectscreenssweden.com . We respond within the timeframe the GDPR requires, which is normally one month. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For us that is IMY, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection): imy.se . If you live in another EU country you may complain to the authority where you live or where you believe the infringement happened instead. Security The site runs over HTTPS, payment pages are handled by our payment providers, and access to order data is limited to the people who need it to fulfil your order.",

    "title": "Terms & Conditions",
    "summary": "The terms that apply when you use the website and buy from Magnetic Insect Screens.",
    "content": "Terms & Conditions Last updated: August 2026 These Terms & Conditions govern your use of insectscreenssweden.com and any purchase you make from Magnetic Insect Screens (a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, \"we\", \"us\" or \"our\"). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. Our Swedish administration address and our registered address are in the footer of every page and on the About page, as the E-commerce Act, e-handelslagen (2002:562), requires of an online seller. How a contract is formed The products shown on this site are an invitation to you to place an order, not a binding offer. Your order is the offer. A contract comes into being when we accept it, which we do by sending you an order confirmation email or by dispatching the goods, whichever happens first. We acknowledge orders electronically without undue delay, as the E-commerce Act requires. Prices and payment All prices are in Swedish kronor (SEK) and include VAT at the applicable rate. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay: SEK 230 flat, or free on orders of SEK 525 and over. Payment is taken at checkout by card through Stripe or through PayPal. We do not store your full card details. Where a product shows a previous price alongside the current one, the previous price is the price this shop charged for that item before the current offer. Price information follows the Price Information Act, prisinformationslagen (2004:347). If a price is obviously wrong, for example through a typing error, we will tell you before dispatch and you can confirm the corrected price or cancel at no cost. Availability If an item you have ordered turns out to be out of stock, we will tell you, and you can choose a different model, wait for new stock, or take a full refund. Delivery We deliver throughout Sweden. Times, costs and what to do if a parcel goes missing are on the Shipping page. Cutting a screen to size Every standard screen is designed to be cut down at home to fit your own opening. Order the size above your measurement. Once you have cut a screen it cannot be returned as unwanted, though your rights over faulty goods are unaffected. Screens we make to your measurements are covered separately on the Refunds & Returns page. Your right of withdrawal You have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal (ångerrätt) under chapter 2, section 10 of the Distance Contracts Act, Distansavtalslagen (2005:59). The full explanation, including the exemption for goods made to your own specification under chapter 2, section 11, is on the Refunds & Returns page. Faults and guarantees Your statutory rights over goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose come from the Consumer Sales Act, Konsumentköplagen (2022:260), including the right to complain about a fault for three years from receipt. Nothing in these terms limits those rights: the Act is mandatory in the consumer's favour and cannot be contracted away. Acceptable use Please do not misuse the site: no attempting to break into it, no scraping it for a competing catalogue, and no using it for anything unlawful. We may withdraw access if you do. Our liability Our liability is set out on the Limited Liability Indemnity page. Nothing there or here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under the Product Liability Act, produktansvarslagen (1992:18). Changes to these terms We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. Governing law and disputes These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected. We would much rather settle any dispute with you directly, so please contact us first. If we cannot resolve it, you can take the dispute to ARN, Allmänna reklamationsnämnden ( arn.se ), free of charge, or to the ordinary Swedish courts.
